Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This document explains what data the DokDok app collects, why it's collected, and how it's used. DokDok collects the minimum data needed to run the service: account information, viewing history and progress, coin/reward activity, and basic device diagnostics for crash reporting. We do not sell your data to third parties.
2. Data We Collect
Account data: email address (or a Google/Apple sign-in token) if you create an account,
or an anonymous guest identifier if you don't.
Usage data: watch history, playback progress, likes, watchlist, and coin/reward activity —
this is what lets the app resume episodes exactly where you left off, including from shared links.
Device data: basic diagnostics (crash reports, app version, OS version) used only to fix bugs.
3. How We Use It
To run core app features (playback, unlocking episodes, rewards), to personalize recommendations, and to keep the coin economy fair (preventing abuse of daily reward limits).
4. Third-Party Processors
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage. Supabase processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments; DokDok does not share your data with advertisers.
5. Your Choices
You can request a copy of your data or request account deletion at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page for exact steps, or reach us directly at privacy@dokdok.app.
6. Children's Privacy
DokDok is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever this policy changes, and post material changes in the app.
